GLOBAL MD HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS, INC., was founded in January 2016. It is a company that is duly registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with endorsements duly made from the Department of Health (DOH), Health Insurance Systems (HMO) and Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD). It was founded by its President Michael D. Demalata, MD, which also acts as the Chief Operation Officer (CEO) and Vice President/ Chairman Eduardo Demalata.
The divisions of GLOBAL MD HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS, INC., includes but are not limited to the following:
- Health Insurance Provider, acting as a Third Party Administrator
- Operation of a Multispecialty Doctors and Diagnostic Clinic
- Operation of a Pharmacy and Convenience store including the Export of Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Supplies
Among the services of GLOBAL MD HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS, INC., is that it provides health insurance, acting as a Third Party Agent for foreign health insurances. One of our first international partners is Chuuk State Healthcare Plan, which is the prime insurance provider for the State of Chuuk in the Federated States of Micronesia. Global MD has been known in providing quality and yet affordable services to the Chuuk Insurance Plan for four (4) years already. The company aims to tap other foreign health insurance in the various countries in the Pacific Ocean, in addition to its vision of joining the roster of prime insurance providers in the Philippines as a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO).
Our current hospital affiliations are Manila Doctors Hospital, The Medical City, Providence Hospital (Quezon City) as well as partnering hospitals such as St. Luke’s Medical Center (Quezon City) and St. Luke’s Medical Center (Global City).
Global Multispecialty Health & Wellness Clinics (Global Clinics)
A division of the company is GLOBAL MULTISPECIALTY HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLINIC (Global Clinics). Global Clinics was established in March 2011. The first branch was opened on March 2011 and is located in FCCG Mansion, Unit 102, 113 Rev. Aglipay St., Mandaluyong City. Michael D. Demalata, MD, the president of Global MD Healthcare Systems Inc., acts as its Operation Manager. Since then, GMHW Clinic takes pride in delivering quality health care that is made affordable through its services and various consultations and diagnostic services. Other services includes Dental Clinic with Dental X-ray, Animal Bite Clinic, DOH (Department of Health) accredited Laboratory Services, X-ray Services, and 4D Ultrasound Services. The clinics also cater Annual Physical Examinations and Pre-Employment Check-ups and has been partnered with various companies and HMOs in the past.
On January 2015, the clinic expanded to its second branch located at 1656 Angel Linao St. Paco, Manila. Global Clinic Paco, Manila Branch, offers various specialty doctors clinic and diagnostic services. It has a DOH (Department of Health) - accredited Radiology Services that offer various X-rays, as well as 4D Ultrasound Services. The main office of Global MD Healthcare Systems, Inc, was also established in the present location in 2016.
On March 2020, Global Multispecialty Health and Wellness Clinic goes to North Luzon with the establishment of its Guiguinto, Bulacan Branch, located at #20 Mc Arthur Highway, Poblacion, Guiguinto Bulacan. Global Clinic – Guiguinto takes pride in serving the community through its various services such as DOH Accredited Laboratory Services, DOH Accredited X-ray Services, Dental Clinic as well as other diagnostic services. Maternity Lying In Clinic is set to open by the 2nd Quarter of 2022.
On April 8, 2022, Global Clinics is set to open its first mall-based branch in Central Mall, Saltiran, Dasmarinas, Cavite. The clinic will cater complete DOH (Department of Health) accredited Secondary Laboratory Services, Radiology Services (X- ray and Ultrasound), Drug Testing and Heart Clinic which includes Threadmill Stress. It will also cater Annual Physical Examinations and Pre-Employment Check-ups as part of its services.
All three branches of Global Clinics offers Heart Clinic providing 2D Echocardiogram/ Vascular Procedures and ECG services at affordable cost. Other service includes an Animal Bite Clinic and provides Vaccination Clinic for both children and adults.
To this date, Global Clinics take pride in catering not only the members of the community, but also acts as a health care provider for some of the countries prime insurance companies. Among these HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) companies are Amaphil, Maxicare Healthcare Corporation, Cocolife Healthcare, Philcare, ValuCare, Health Maintenance Inc (HMI), Eastwest Healthcare, Insular Life, Medocare Health Systems, and Etiqa (formerly Asianlife), Amaphil and Sunlife Grepa Financial Inc.
Global MD Express Pharmacy (GMD Express Pharmacy)
GMD EXPRESS PHARMACY (Aglipay Branch), started its operation on January 2017. GMD EXPRESS PHARMACY (Paco, Manila Branch) opened last March 2018. Both Pharmacies are located within the vicinity of Global Multispecialty Health & Wellness Clinic (Mandaluyong Branch) and Global Multispecialty Health & Wellness Clinic (Paco, Manila Branch. In July 2021, the first free standing GMD EXPRESS PHARMACY (Tejeron-Sta. Ana, Manila Branch) was established. All pharmacies currently offer wide array of pharmaceutical products ranging from the reputable companies providing Generic and Branded Medications. All pharmacies also offers Medical Supplies and equipment. It is also the local company that exports medical and other pharmaceutical products and equipment to its partner companies abroad. Particular is Global Incorporated, a foreign company situated at Chuuk State, in the Federated States of Micronesia.
In December 2018, GMD Express Pharmacies, Mandaluyong and Paco, Manila Branches, has now expanded to include Convenience/ Health & Wellness Store.
In July 2021, GMD Express was established in Tejeron, Sta. Ana, Manila. As the first free standing pharmacy with convenience store, GMD Express Tejeron-Sta. Ana, Manila branch
On March 8, 2022, GMD EXPRESS PHARMACY (Dasmarinas, Cavite Branch) is set to open together with GLOBAL MULTISPECIALTY HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLINIC (Dasmarinas, Cavite Branch) at the Central Mall, in Salitran, Dasmarinas Cavite. Various branches of GMD Express Pharmacy is also set to open in Cavite and Bulacan area fourth quarter of 2022 and first quarter of 2023.
Global Incorporated is the sister company of Global MD Healthcare Systems, Inc., in the island of Chuuk, in the Federated States of Micronesia. Established in July 2018, Global Incorporated has a fully operational Pharmacy and Convenience Store that is engages in Pharmaceutical/ Medical Supplies business. It is now known in Chuuk State, as the source of various Branded and Generic Medicines that are fully regulated by the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) in the Philippines. It is the lone supplier of pharmaceutical products that are not available on the island, particularly the medicines that are used by patients referred to the Philippines from the Chuuk State Healthcare Plan, thus ensuring continuous supply of patient’s medicines for the benefit and continuous treatment for the people of Chuuk State. The principal investors include Michael Demalata, MD (President), Eduardo Demalata (Vice President) and Gracia Demalata, who also acts as its board of trustees.
